True North is proud to partner with the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, a public nonprofit organization dedicated to significantly improving the lives of people with Down syndrome through research, medical care, education, and advocacy.
As a content marketing partner for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, True North is developing Down Syndrome World, a quarterly national publication as well as a monthly e-newslettter designed to raise awareness, increase funding for research, and facilitate improved quality of life for individuals and their families living with Down syndrome.
Encompassing a quarterly custom publication and monthly e-newsletter, the Global Down Syndrome Foundation’s integrated communication strategy is designed to educate key stakeholders on the organization’s role as the leading resource for Down syndrome research, information, and support. Down syndrome is one of the most under-funded genetic conditions in the United States, so fundraising and government advocacy to correct the alarming disparity of national funding for people with Down syndrome is a major goal. The magazine will feature celebrities, updates on research, features on self advocates achieving incredible things, discussion on controversial topics, and more.
The first issue of Down Syndrome World will deliver in October. Subscribe to both the magazine and Global’s monthly eNewsletter by visiting www.globaldownsyndrome.org.
