Our Leadership



Eric Silberman has been with True North Custom for over 15 years, working alongside senior leadership to guide healthcare organizations across the country toward effective marketing strategies. Eric has particular expertise in marketing strategies leveraging data analytics and marketing technology to drive patient engagement and acquisition. He serves as Executive Editor for Healthcare Insight magazine — a publication that reaches virtually every healthcare strategy and marketing professional in America — and is a frequent speaker at industry events, including the annual SHSMD, Hospital Marketing National, and Healthcare Internet conferences. 


Vice President of Finance

Mike has led the finance team at True North Custom since 2014, first as controller and currently as vice president of finance. He has more than 30 years of financial experience in various private companies and industries. Mike has worked domestically and abroad and is schooled on both U.S. and International Accounting Standards. Prior to joining True North Custom, Mike served as the finance coordinator for Wycliffe Associates. Among his many other talents, Mike can order dinner in 15 languages.


VP of Strategy and Business Development

As a strategy lead for True North Custom, Jane coordinates with healthcare partners to generate and implement strategies for building brand, increasing patient and referral revenue and optimizing marketing technology outcomes. Formerly with Medicom Health Interactive, Jane has extensive experience in data-driven and digital marketing strategies that drive brand and revenue growth for healthcare organizations. She earned a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Minnesota Duluth.


Editorial Director

Sandee Curry is a writer and editor with 19 years of experience. She has been with True North Custom for three years, beginning as a managing editor and now serving as editorial director. Her childhood dream was to run her own magazine, and her dream has been fulfilled working at True North Custom where she loves helping her clients exceed their expectations and marketing goals. Her other passion is education. She’s a former teacher and has mentored with Read to a Child, ACES, Big Brothers, Big Sisters and is a current mentor with iCouldBe. She is a member of ACES: The Society for Editing and holds a Poynter ACES Certificate in Editing.


Director of Client Services

Nancy joined the True North Custom team in 2015. As director of client services, she works with the account managers and account coordinators to ensure our clients receive exceptional products, service, and strategic guidance. Nancy has 20 years of experience managing integrated content strategies, including leadership roles at Charisma Media, a Christian multi-media company, and previously serving as president of Metrovista, a commercial printing company. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in business administration and marketing and has served on the board of directors for The Greater Regional Sanford Chamber of Commerce in Florida.


Vice President of Operations

For 20 years, Tyler has been engaged in the strategy, design, execution, and operations for B2B and B2C marketing initiatives. Tyler has been with True North Custom for the past 12 years and has been integral in the expansion of its footprint in digital products and services. As vice president of operations, he is responsible for maximizing product development and content creation processes that enable the company and our clients to innovate, adapt, and thrive in an ever-changing marketing landscape.


Vice President of Creative Services

Eric has more than 15 years of design experience, including extensive work in developing brand standards and creating corporate identities. As vice president of creative services, Eric oversees a team of creative print and interactive designers to ensure our content aligns with each client’s brand guidelines and best practices. Eric came to True North after serving as art director for a weekly alternative newspaper and a monthly parenting magazine. He previously worked as a designer for custom clients in the marketing department for a Fortune 250 company. 


Content Director

Lisa has 21 years of editorial experience, writing and editing for websites, magazines, newspapers, and marketing campaigns for both niche and mainstream audiences. Lisa joined True North Custom in 2005 as a managing editor and has also worked as a website editor and video producer for the company. In her current role, Lisa leads our team of dedicated writers, who generate custom content with client goals as their guide. Prior to working at True North, Lisa was a website editor and team leader for HGTV.com.


Art Director

Emily Sewell has been a designer for over 15 years in the visual communications and print industries. In 2014, she joined True North Custom as a designer and has been designing for various clients from Hackensack, NJ all the way to St. Petersburg, FL. When she’s not designing, she provides support to the design team through her role as Art Director. At True North Custom, Emily works closely with her clients to develop visual strategies that advance their marketing goals by designing an array of print and digital content, from magazines and direct mail pieces to infographics.


Chief Marketing Officer

Jason has 20 years of experience in strategic healthcare marketing and communications, having worked on both the client and agency sides of the industry. Prior to True North, he served in the corporate marketing department at Encompass Health (fka HealthSouth), one of the nation’s largest providers of sports medicine and rehabilitation. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development, and has presented on marketing strategy at industry events including the Healthcare Internet Conference and Association for Healthcare Philanthropy Annual International Conference. Jason also serves as Editor-in-Chief of Healthcare Insight magazine.
